General Terms and Conditions
Luggage Storage BA SRL (CUIT 33-71847337-9), domiciled in the City of Buenos Aires, provides and coordinates temporary luggage storage at its own stores and businesses enrolled in the Luggage Points network.
These Terms and Conditions govern the website, bookings and luggage storage service. By purchasing or using the service, the Customer declares that they have read and accepted the version presented at the time of booking.
1. Definitions
Company: Luggage Storage BA SRL, also commercially identified as Luggage Storage BA.
Platform: the official luggagestorageba.com website and interfaces enabled by the Company to search, book, pay for or manage the Service.
Customer: the person purchasing or using the Service.
Official store: an establishment operated directly by Luggage Storage BA.
Luggage Point or Point: an independent business enrolled in the network and validated to receive and safeguard luggage under a booking.
Booking: a confirmed request to store a stated number of luggage pieces at a specified place and period.
2. Service scope
The Service consists of receiving, identifying, temporarily safeguarding and returning luggage at the selected official store or Luggage Point. Location, opening hours, availability, price and applicable specific conditions are shown during booking.
Availability is subject to the selected establishment's capacity and hours. A request is not confirmed until the Platform issues confirmation.
The Customer must respect the booked number of pieces, dates and times. Additional luggage requires a new purchase or the adjustment indicated by the Company before reception.
3. Booking, identification and pickup
To provide the Service, the Company may request name, contact details, booking information and sufficient documentation to verify Customer identity.
The booking creates an individual code or receipt. The establishment may identify each piece using a tag, ticket, seal or another method linked to that code.
To collect luggage, the Customer must present the booking code or receipt and, when required, an identity document. If the receipt is lost or reasonable doubts exist, additional verification may be completed before release.
The Customer should check that every piece was returned and report any irregularity before leaving the establishment whenever possible.
4. Prices and payment methods
The applicable price is shown before confirmation and may vary by location, number of pieces, duration, date, promotions or other stated conditions. Unless otherwise indicated, amounts are expressed in Argentine pesos.
Online bookings are paid using the electronic methods shown by the Platform. Payments are processed by external providers and may be subject to their validation and settlement times.
Cash payment is available only when expressly offered for an official store and may include specific conditions or coupons shown before confirmation. A cash coupon cannot be used with another payment method.
Luggage Points are not authorized to collect payment outside the Platform or request additional amounts unless the Platform expressly indicates otherwise.
Bank fees, taxes, conversions or exchange-rate differences applied by the Customer's financial institution are outside the Company's control, without limiting rights granted by law.
5. Cancellations, withdrawal and refunds
As a general commercial policy, the Customer may request free cancellation up to twenty-four (24) hours before the booked period starts through the official channels in the confirmation.
Eligible refunds are processed through the original payment method. Final settlement may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.
Cancellations requested less than twenty-four (24) hours in advance and no-shows may be non-refundable unless mandatory law, a more favorable specific condition or a cause attributable to the Company provides otherwise.
The Company may cancel a booking for operating or security reasons, force majeure or unforeseen events. If the Service cannot be provided after payment, a full refund will be processed.
This policy does not limit withdrawal rights or other mandatory Customer rights under consumer protection law.
6. Customer obligations and prohibited items
The Customer must provide truthful information, maintain an available contact channel and follow reasonable identification, security and operating instructions.
Weapons, explosives, flammable, toxic or illegal substances, hazardous materials, animals, perishable food, cash, jewelry, securities, unique documents and any items whose transport, possession or storage is prohibited are not accepted.
The Company recommends not storing fragile items, high-value electronics or goods exceeding the stated coverage. The Customer is responsible for closing and preparing luggage properly.
The Company or establishment may reject luggage that violates these rules, presents unsafe conditions or does not reasonably match the booking. Suspected dangerous or illegal contents may be referred to the competent authorities.
7. Safekeeping and security
Luggage is kept in the designated storage area at the selected establishment. Access and security measures may vary by location and are disclosed where relevant to the purchase.
The Company and establishments do not ordinarily inspect contents or inventory objects inside luggage. They will not open luggage except with Customer authorization, in a justified emergency or under a valid competent-authority request.
The assigned code, receipt, tag or seal must be kept safe. Customers must not share pickup credentials with unauthorized people.
8. Insurance, incidents and liability
The Service includes coverage for loss resulting from theft up to two hundred fifty US dollars (USD 250) per luggage piece, subject to current coverage, case verification, a police report and other reasonably required documentation.
The Company does not verify the existence, condition or value of each object inside luggage upon receipt. Claims are assessed using the booking receipt, luggage identification, available evidence and applicable law.
Customers must report incidents as soon as they become aware and cooperate with necessary information. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liabilities or rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
9. Rules for Luggage Points
Luggage Points are independent businesses providing luggage reception and safekeeping within the network. Luggage Storage BA manages the Platform, validates businesses and coordinates bookings and online payments.
The Point must honor confirmed bookings, safeguard identified luggage and release it after the required checks. The Customer must follow the hours and specific instructions shown for that location.
Internal enrollment, operating and payout conditions between the Company and each Partner Business are governed by a separate agreement and do not change the Customer rights stated here.
10. Communications and personal data
The Company may send confirmations, codes, operational notices and communications needed to manage the booking. Customers are responsible for keeping contact details accurate.
Personal data is processed to manage purchases, identify Customers, prevent fraud, handle incidents and meet legal obligations under Argentine law and the current Privacy Policy.
11. Platform availability and suspicious operations
The Company seeks to keep the Platform available, but interruptions or delays may result from maintenance, connectivity, payment providers or other third-party services.
Where there are reasonable signs of fraud, misuse or security risk, the Company may request additional verification, suspend the operation or cancel the booking. If a legitimate payment was settled and the Service is not provided, the corresponding refund will be processed.
12. Amendments and applicable version
The Company may update these Terms to reflect legal, operating or Service changes. The updated version will be published on the website with its identifier and effective date.
Each booking is governed by the version accepted when purchased, except for changes required by mandatory law or later conditions more favorable to the Customer.
The invalidity of one clause does not affect the remaining clauses.
13. Governing law, support and claims
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Consumer relationships will respect the competence, jurisdiction and procedures established by applicable mandatory rules.
For questions, cancellations or claims, Customers may email booking@luggagestorageba.com and provide their booking code. The Company may request only the additional information strictly needed to identify the operation and protect the data subject.
